21/03/2007 - Easter Sells Out in Rochester


Easter Group and IPIF have sold all their freehold industrial/warehouse units at Stirling Park, Rochester. Only three leasehold units remain available with another two in solicitors’ hands.

Stirling Park is an 81,200 sq ft development comprising 16 high quality production/warehouse units ranging from 2,350 to 12,350 sq ft.

Recent deals include:

* Sale of 3,850 sq ft to Beacon Group, a national electronic security and personnel management systems company.

* Sale of 3,850 sq ft to D’Lec Components, independently owned Supplier of replacement LCD panels for the TV and information industry.

* Sale of 3,750 sq ft to a private company

* Sale of 4,100 sq ft to TGC Ltd, an international supplier of industrial generators. TGC Ltd has already taken 5,300 sq ft at the scheme.

James Dipple, development director at Easter, comments: “Stirling Park has proved to be one of our most successful developments in the South East. The main attraction is the quality of the buildings coupled with an excellent location.”

Legal and General’s Industrial Property Investment Fund (IPIF) funded Stirling Park and will retain the leasehold within their portfolio. The joint letting agents are Watson Day and King Sturge.
